Sr. Principal, SAP Sales and Distribution

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery, solution design, and hands-on SAP SD configuration for Order-to-Invoice processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and shipments.
• Design and optimize complex pricing using condition techniques to support discounts, surcharges, freight, and taxes.
• Deliver integrated solutions between SAP SD and eCommerce platforms, middleware, and external partners.
• Configure and govern Customer Master and Business Partner objects in alignment with MDM/Master Data Governance standards.
• Support Sales Bill of Materials (Sales BOM), consignment agreements, and serialized product handling.
• Design and support Available-to-Promise (ATP) and Advanced ATP (aATP) within S/4HANA.
• Drive global template adoption while managing country-specific requirements for taxation, legal invoicing, and export compliance.
• Participate in S/4HANA conversion initiatives, including code remediation, data validation, and functional testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• 10–15 years of SAP SD functional consulting experience with hands-on configuration ownership.
• 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Proven experience delivering SD solutions in global template environments.
• Experience integrating SAP SD with FI/CO, MM, and logistics execution solutions (LE, TM, WM, EWM).
• Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA programs (conversion or greenfield).
• Familiarity with integration platforms such as SAP CPI/PI, MuleSoft, or EDI standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in MBA, MIS, or Supply Chain.
• SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution certification.
• Experience in the medical device or contact lens industry.
• Experience working in validated environments (GxP, CSA+, or SOX).
• Experience with globally distributed Agile/Scrum teams.
