About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide global technical expertise in aseptic process engineering and parenteral technologies, including formulation, filling, freeze drying, and isolation systems.
- Act as a technical resource for global manufacturing sites, external manufacturing partners, and contract manufacturers.
- Lead technical discipline activities, including the creation of engineering standards, master specifications, and best practices.
- Provide technical consulting and leadership for major capital projects and technology assessments.
- Mentor and coach junior engineering staff to build functional capability and technical development.
- Investigate and integrate emerging technologies to meet production and compliance requirements.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical evaluations for global sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cGMP manufacturing or manufacturing support with increasing technical responsibility.
- Extensive knowledge of parenteral processing equipment and operations.
- Ability to travel up to 35% (domestic and international).
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and implement large-scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with technology advances in vial, cartridge, and syringe container closure systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional and global teamwork.
- Demonstrated learning agility and ability to work effectively with outside suppliers and partners.
