Sr. Preconstruction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of estimators and engineers in pursuits to secure work at competitive prices
• Manage task allocation, win strategies, resource leveling, and estimate close-out processes
• Communicate and present detailed estimates to executive management and clients
• Analyze drawings and specifications to define the scope of work
• Review and assist with proposals and documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Utilize Kiewit’s estimating program, “InEight Estimate”
• Provide leadership and strategy during the subcontractor and vendor selection process
• Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of professional estimating experience
• Proven ability to lead large-scale estimates and manage multiple teams
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for excellence and initiative
