About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a power module design and development team
  • Mentor and develop engineers and future technical leaders within the group
  • Develop new products, technology roadmaps, and strategic plans
  • Oversee new power module product developments including definition, design, simulation, ATE test, and qualification
  • Interface with product lines, marketing, and customers to contribute to architectural decisions
  • Identify project technical risks and implement mitigation actions to meet schedule and performance goals
  • Lead design reviews and work across functional groups to drive project success
  • Perform technical writing, presentations, and new product promotions

Requirements

  • MSEE or Ph.D. in Power Electronics
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience in switching power converter design and development
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering team management experience
  • Strong background in analog circuits, power electronics, and power management systems
  • Expertise in DC/DC power converter design (Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward, Full Bridge, LLC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools such as SPICE, LTspice, or Simplis
  • Strong hardware and circuit debugging skills
  • Excellent communication, people, and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with firmware, DPS, or FPGA programming
  • Experience with I2C/PMbus protocols
  • Knowledge of magnetic design, simulation, and thermal analysis
