About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality sales and service to investment clients to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Offer technical expertise in investment management, fiduciary leadership, and administration to ensure compliance.
- Develop internal and external networks and referral sources to grow the assigned portfolio and jurisdiction.
- Create integrated business development strategies and develop investment proposals for prospects and clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations, policies, and fiduciary law.
- Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to meet business and financial goals.
- Develop and recommend model portfolios based on statistical evaluations of risk, return, and correlations.
- Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues and provide data-driven insights for decision making.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and the implementation of vendor solutions.
- Ensure alignment with risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in investment management or a related field.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expert understanding of portfolio management principles and asset mix determination.
- In-depth knowledge of fiduciary law and its applicability to trust investment accounts.
- Strong expertise in equity and fixed income markets.
- Comprehensive understanding of tax-related issues affecting investments.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and influence skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or professional Finance certification.
