About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a large territory in Manhattan North, NY, focusing on a defined target list of physicians and practitioners
  • Build disease awareness and validate understanding of treatment initiation processes and patient identification
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners regarding prior authorization, payor restrictions, and reimbursement to support patient access
  • Develop and implement impactful territory plans to grow sales and manage the sales budget
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, opinion leaders, and the pharmaceutical community
  • Conduct meetings, events, congresses, round tables, and product presentations
  • Prospect the market for new accounts and identify growth opportunities
  • Track account metrics and communicate monthly/quarterly progress against sales targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • 2 years of proven professional experience
  • Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English
  • Ability to manage a territory in Manhattan North, NY

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales account management within the healthcare industry (specifically eye care pharmaceutical or medical device fields)
  • Strong technical learning agility and business acumen
  • High-energy, self-starter mindset with a collaborative approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Valid Driving license (category B)
