Sr. Payroll Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide payroll support for LATAM (Chile and Mexico), managing payments, benefits, taxes, and accounting requirements.
• Register new hires in the Day Force payroll system and manage layouts for IMSS, Mercer, SURA, and Pluxee.
• Calculate and process Mexico payroll, including benefits, discounts, and taxes in accordance with Mexican laws.
• Manage payroll incidents such as vacations, bonuses, commissions, and salary changes within the Day Force system.
• Calculate and prepare IMSS, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT payments.
• Handle employee settlements, including document generation and registration of exits in the payroll system.
• Prepare special payrolls such as year-end bonuses, savings funds, and PTU.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors and legal entities (IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc.) to ensure compliance and resolve administrative procedures.
• Support payroll audits and ensure the payroll system is updated with current Mexican legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in payroll processes.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Social Security, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, LFT (Mexican Labor Law), and Income Tax.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools such as SUA, IDSE, and SIPARE.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using the Day Force payroll system.
