Sr. Paint Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support to management for the development, implementation, and maintenance of paint and powder coating operations
• Review Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on ISO quality standards
• Provide technical support for automated production lines regarding color, gloss, and chemical substance
• Identify and implement process line and field defect analysis and improvements
• Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback to production management
• Produce reports regarding product nonconformance, root cause analyses, and quality trends
• Train Paint Operators on equipment, processes, and safety protocols
• Assist operators in diagnosing and correcting mechanical problems

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Paint Quality Assurance or a related role
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with powder coatings for home appliance manufacturing
• Experience with automatic painting robots and electrostatic spray coating systems
• Experience with paint defect analysis and field quality issue management
• Experience with EHS and chemical safety management
