Sr. Operations Manager, New Equipment & Modernization

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for New Equipment and Modernization projects within the South Florida and Bahamas territory
• Partner with the General Manager to develop and implement territory business plans for financial and non-financial objectives
• Manage day-to-day field staff activities, including employee selection, training, and performance management
• Set and manage budgets for material and labor to ensure projects are completed within guidelines
• Conduct field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety and logistics plans
• Resolve customer issues and contractual disputes as the key point of escalation
• Coach and mentor superintendents to meet operational KPIs and performance targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding documentation, methods, and process design

Requirements

• 5+ years of people leadership experience
• Proven experience in financial statement analysis and commercial contract management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical computer software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of EH&S policy and strict enforcement of safety processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the elevator industry or a related service-oriented business
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of equivalent professional experience
