Sr. Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements across work centers
• Assist in manifest planning and change management activities
• Support standardizing labor analysis and assist in headcount planning and demand forecasting
• Create reports, automated tools, and standardized metrics using SQL, Excel, and Power BI
• Review, track, and communicate shop performance and schedule execution
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain
• Provide monthly reviews on schedule performance and conduct capacity analysis
• Schedule and level-load resources for critical path scope
• Lead root cause analysis and develop permanent resolutions for product build issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in operations analysis, production coordination, scheduling, or planning
• 2+ years of experience with information management and workflow solutions like JIRA or Confluence
• Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to be hands-on and spend time in the field regularly (pad, bakery, and production floor)
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience scheduling with Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar software
• 1+ years of practical experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment
• Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Experience building data visualization dashboards with Power BI or Tableau
• Proficiency with MS Excel
