About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a sales team to achieve short-term and long-term revenue targets and portfolio growth
- Develop and manage a customer prospect pipeline to win new contracts and incremental equipment projects
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers
- Engage and lead the sales force to increase team capability and productivity
- Establish and monitor sales KPIs, managing activity and forecasts
- Work closely with operational leads to optimize sales and marketing strategies
- Assist the team with networking, pricing, bids, and tenders
- Manage and optimize the use of digital tools
Requirements
- Business or technical degree
- 7 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree in a related field
- Proven track record in a sales management role within construction, facilities management, HVAC, fire & security, or M&E industries
- Strategic mindset with the ability to deliver both short-term goals and long-term objectives
- Results-focused approach with the ability to work at pace in a complex corporate environment
- Experience motivating sales teams through collaborative and inclusive leadership
