Sr. Multi-Craft Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and independently with minimal supervision
• Perform advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance functions
• Ensure all work complies with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) and HSE&S policies
• Intervene and take action on any non-conformance regarding safety, health, environment, or security
• Participate in safety meetings, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Plant Safety Rules, including the use of required PPE
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment control

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Tech Trade school certificate preferred
• Proven qualification as a Multi-Craft Mechanic, Senior Mechanic, and Senior Electrician
• Ability to work from schematics, sketches, and technical manuals
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as measuring devices like Meggers and DVOM
• Familiarity with solid state devices and Class 1 Div. 1 & 2 codes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and correctly
