Sr Mgr Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supplier quality engineers to establish and maintain quality standards for semiconductor assembly suppliers.
• Act as a regional liaison between Renesas and suppliers for subcontracted manufacturing and components.
• Manage quality excursions and drive effective root cause solutions and preventive actions.
• Support assembly processes with a focus on Cu Clip, surface mount technology (SMT), and related manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and audit activities.
• Identify quality trends and manage projects to drive continuous improvement and best-practice initiatives.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in supplier quality management, including supplier selection and manufacturing excursion response.
• Proven experience in assembly processes, specifically Cu Clip, SMT, and component manufacturing.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and fishbone analyses.
• Strong knowledge of external standards including ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949.
• Hands-on experience with FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and MSA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional internal groups.
