About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise business capability model, value streams, and operating model blueprints.
- Establish business architecture standards, principles, and governance to guide large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior business, product, and technology leaders on structural design decisions.
- Translate enterprise strategies into actionable capability roadmaps and transformation journeys.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture to align business capabilities with certified APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
- Craft persuasive narratives and executive-level materials to communicate capability-driven decisions to C-level leadership.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of business architects and analysts.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and automation to modernize processes and improve performance.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, strategy, or operating model design within a large, complex organization.
- Deep expertise in business architecture practices, including capability modeling, value streams, and domain modeling.
- Conceptual familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or BizBOK.
- Strong understanding of enterprise platforms, API ecosystems, and integration architectures.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and facilitate alignment across large, matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional executive storytelling skills with experience developing board-level strategic materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, or Deloitte).
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, or Information Systems.
- Experience in global financial services or the payments industry.
- Background in large-scale modernization, platform rationalization, or M&A integration.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and API productization.
