Sr. Member Service Officer (Floater)

Responsibilities

• Provide floater coverage across various branch locations to ensure operational excellence.
• Build and maintain member relationships by educating and advising on products such as Money Markets, Certificates, Trust, HSA, and IRA accounts.
• Actively promote marketing campaigns and cross-sell Credit Union products to deepen member relationships.
• Assist members with complex account matters, including troubleshooting fraud, account errors, and card issues.
• Accept consumer loan applications, follow up on documentation, and close loans in person.
• Perform outbound communication and cold sales calls to generate new deposits and loans.
• Execute dual control operational tasks and assist management with daily routines and reporting.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent; a related college degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Member Service Representative or in a comparable role at a full-service financial institution.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals or cross-sell expectations.
• Extensive cash handling experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Symitar for Windows (Epysis).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Thorough knowledge of financial regulations and Credit Union procedures.
