Sr Medical Writer

Responsibilities

• Prepare publication manuscripts for clinical studies, scientific reports, and special summaries from raw data for FDA submission or internal use
• Execute highly complex medical writing projects, including monographs, comprehensive reviews, and scientific exhibits
• Develop sales education materials, manuals, product brochures, and literature for new products
• Compose medical papers from physician outlines for professional presentations
• Compile, analyze, and summarize data from various sources to support medical communications
• Maintain files on informative journal abstracts and respond to technical inquiries regarding company products or diseases

Requirements

• Associates Degree
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar medical writing role
• Knowledge of product areas and current industry developments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in a similar role
• Current or former experience working at Abbott
