Sr. Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical community, establishing and maintaining relationships with prominent experts and clinicians
• Network and partner with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, and managed care decision makers
• Communicate scientific/medical information and the commercial value of products to key internal and external audiences
• Identify potential new speakers and provide training on scientific content for sponsored external speaker programs
• Participate in national and regional conferences to support medical/clinical strategy and monitor competitive trends
• Collaborate with medical affairs and clinical development teams to evaluate external clinical research and facilitate investigator-initiated trials

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, OR Master's degree with 6 years of Medical Affairs experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 8 years of Medical Affairs experience
• Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management and conference attendance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new business applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. degree
• 2+ years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role within a biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and professional demeanor
