Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Mechanical Design team across multiple projects
• Develop and review HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems designs
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
• Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines for seamless integration
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Manage project workloads, schedules, and team performance
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout all project phases
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design within an engineering consultancy environment
• Previous experience leading or supervising a mechanical design team
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, HAP, and Elite Software
• Strong knowledge and experience of BIM coordination and design workflows
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
