Sr. Materials/Planning Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
• Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while minimizing waste.
• Analyze production data, performance metrics, and historical trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics.
• Address production issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and capacity utilization to management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives applying lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• 5-10+ years of related experience in Wafer Planning.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production control environment with a strong understanding of the supply chain.
• Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with advanced planning systems.
• Proficiency with PowerBI.
• Experience with Final Phase systems or Fabtime.
