Sr Materials Mgmt Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage material planning activities to ensure timely availability of materials for production and customer demand
• Monitor inventory levels to identify shortages or excess, implementing corrective actions to optimize working capital
• Analyze material requirements, demand forecasts, lead times, and supply risks to support uninterrupted operations
• Collaborate with sourcing teams and suppliers to resolve supply constraints and improve availability
• Drive inventory management initiatives, including cycle count reviews and excess/obsolete inventory reduction
• Support Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes through data analysis and insights
• Develop and maintain material management metrics, dashboards, and reports for business decision-making
• Investigate material shortages and inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Coordinate licensing projects and direct ship activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Rapid Response
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and supply chain reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights
• Proven ability in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management
