Sr. Market Development Manager, Building Industry

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new growth opportunities within the Building & Construction Industry segment for the ACA Strategic Business Unit
• Research market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies impacting building material manufacturers
• Conduct market assessments, customer research, value chain analysis, and business case development
• Lead pilot and validation projects with cross-functional teams to test new applications and technologies
• Develop commercialization recommendations and transition validated opportunities to business, marketing, and sales teams
• Maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in market development, business development, strategic marketing, or product management
• Strong market research, analytical, and business case development skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and market intelligence tools
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept through commercialization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within building materials, construction, specialty chemicals, adhesives, sealants, or industrial manufacturing
• Proven ability to convert market insights into actionable growth opportunities
