Sr Manufacturing Operations Engineer - Process

Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes for assigned product lines, resolving issues and driving improvement projects.
• Manage product line transfers from other sites acting as the primary project manager.
• Develop, revise, and update process documentation and work instructions following standard change processes.
• Lead prototype manufacturing, First Article Inspection (FAI), and product improvements.
• Manage tooling and fixture requirements, including preparing drawings, identifying vendors, and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Oversee equipment management to ensure efficient operation of critical machinery and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate process changes to improve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Analyze product yield and implement data-driven improvement plans.
• Lead automation projects to enhance overall manufacturing productivity.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2+ years of industrial experience in a related engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process standardization.
• Proven project management skills, specifically regarding product transfers or new developments.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to present data and technical ideas effectively to various stakeholders.
