Sr. Manager, Technical Project Management

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate chemical formulation-based product development to support core business growth.
• Direct formulation development teams to create, optimize, and scale new products from concept through commercialization.
• Identify and execute formulation superiority programs, including enhanced performance attributes and new testing methodologies.
• Evaluate emerging chemical innovations and partner cross-functionally to define raw material and processing requirements.
• Oversee raw material substitution and reformulation initiatives to improve cost savings, supply resilience, and sustainability.
• Manage R&D formulation timelines, resource allocation, and cross-team dependencies to ensure milestone achievement.
• Proactively assess technical risks and define mitigation strategies from concept through commercialization.
• Guide and mentor team members, fostering technical rigor and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a technical team.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in formulation.
• Extensive knowledge of chemical technologies and processes.
• Expertise in Process Development to set up production lines and scale up formulations.
• Proven ability to commercialize products within complex child safety and regulatory constraints.
• Flexibility to travel as necessary to fulfill job requirements.
