Sr. Manager, System and Process Lead, Global Data Management

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in clinical business systems supporting Global Data Management (GDM) and regulatory compliance
• Drive the operation and continuous enhancement of EDC URLs as the accountable business owner and technical expert
• Support the development and execution of automation, innovation, and digital data capture strategies, including eSource and decentralized clinical trials (DCT)
• Act as Process Lead to ensure clinical business system utilization aligns with established processes and procedures
• Represent GDM end-user needs to the Drug Development BI&T organization regarding business strategy, requirements, and system implementation
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including scenario planning, scripting, and coordination with business users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure efficient clinical development operations
• Serve as a point of contact for compliance activities, including inspection support, data integrity, and audit trail reviews
• Proactively resolve technical and process issues to drive operational efficiency and process optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical development operations, specifically focused on clinical data management and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of primary clinical business systems, including EDC, data acquisition, data review, and eCOA platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical and process issues
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with project management methodologies and tools
