Sr Manager - Purchasing

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Purchasing department
• Oversee the total materials process, including procurement and planning
• Act as the escalation level for materials management on customer and material-related issues
• Mentor and coach the procurement team to ensure customer demands are met without compromising internal metrics
• Collaborate with functional teams to develop contingency plans for changes or crisis situations
• Drive succession planning and employee development to realize team potential

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 8+ years of related experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
