About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT support operations, including service desk and end-user support, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Define and drive IT and enterprise software strategy aligned with business goals, scalability, and security.
- Partner cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical roadmaps, investment plans, and compliant solutions.
- Own the full lifecycle of enterprise software, including optimization, implementation, and retirement.
- Lead vendor contract negotiations, performance oversight, and alignment with cost and risk expectations.
- Establish governance frameworks for evaluating and approving new tools to optimize the tech stack.
- Drive operational processes including system administration, access management, and lifecycle processes.
- Lead portfolio planning and prioritization for major IT and enterprise software initiatives.
- Evaluate new tools and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Provide regular reporting on software portfolio health, risks, and strategic progress to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT, enterprise software, or technology-driven organizations.
- 5+ years in strategic or operational leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record leading IT support and large-scale enterprise software initiatives from planning through execution.
- Experience working within a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, health tech).
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOC2, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Strong experience with budgeting and resource forecasting.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
