Sr. Manager of IT & Enterprise Software Strategy

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT support operations, including service desk and end-user support, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Define and drive IT and enterprise software strategy aligned with business goals, scalability, and security.
• Partner cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical roadmaps, investment plans, and compliant solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle of enterprise software, including optimization, implementation, and retirement.
• Lead vendor contract negotiations, performance oversight, and alignment with cost and risk expectations.
• Establish governance frameworks for evaluating and approving new tools to optimize the tech stack.
• Drive operational processes including system administration, access management, and lifecycle processes.
• Lead portfolio planning and prioritization for major IT and enterprise software initiatives.
• Evaluate new tools and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Provide regular reporting on software portfolio health, risks, and strategic progress to leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT, enterprise software, or technology-driven organizations.
• 5+ years in strategic or operational leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record leading IT support and large-scale enterprise software initiatives from planning through execution.
• Experience working within a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, health tech).
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOC2, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Strong experience with budgeting and resource forecasting.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
