Sr. Manager, Non-Sterile Compounding Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in a brand-new, state-of-the-art non-sterile compounding facility
• Build and drive a culture of safety within the compounding labs
• Manage a diverse team including compounding managers, operations managers, production schedulers, and pharmacy technicians
• Develop policies and procedures to drive process standardization across the network
• Identify production concerns and implement corrective actions to prevent delays
• Develop and deliver key KPIs to meet capacity and demand requirements
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Partner with Maintenance and Engineering teams to drive innovation and capacity

Requirements

• 8-10 years of operational leadership in the pharmaceutical industry or a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of USP 797, USP 800, and cGMP standards
• Experience with Lean leadership tools and practices such as Six Sigma and 5S
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, partnering with Quality, Compliance, and R&D
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
