Sr. Manager, Monitoring & Observability

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and implement robust IT monitoring and observability capabilities across production and pre-production environments.
• Design and deliver automated remediation and self-healing solutions to improve system reliability.
• Build service management and event correlation systems to transition from isolated alerts to predictive service impact analysis.
• Partner with operations and strategic teams to design integrations, rules, and procedures for incident resolution.
• Conduct research on emerging monitoring products, services, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation regarding configuration, mapping, and service records.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in the design and implementation of global, multi-platform enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for automation and data analysis.
• Experience with REST API, JSON, and Web services.
• Understanding of commercial and open-source tools including SCOM, APM, and log management tools.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Enterprise Architecture, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Manager of Managers (MoM) platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud and hybrid platform support (On-Prem, Cloud, and Hybrid).
• Experience developing modern fault, performance, and capacity alarm management systems.
