Sr. Manager, Label Management

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for labels, maintaining positive and productive relationships.
• Oversee all aspects of local and international physical distribution as a specialist.
• Manage approvals and updates for both digital and physical music releases.
• Provide guidance to labels regarding release best practices and metadata requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments including finance, marketing, and legal to meet label business needs.
• Distribute key assets to global retail and marketing teams to ensure alignment on release initiatives.
• Utilize internal marketing and data analytics tools to drive label engagement and support strategic decisions.
• Analyze data to propose optimizations that help labels and artists remain competitive.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in music distribution (covering both digital and physical).
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Deep knowledge of the music industry and a strong passion for music.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with artists and partners.
