Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the professional development of a team of five engineers across systems, cloud, and network disciplines.
• Drive strategy, prioritization, and execution for infrastructure initiatives, including cloud platforms and network infrastructure.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security to ensure designs meet security and compliance requirements.
• Manage the infrastructure project portfolio, utilizing tools like Jira to track intake, planning, and delivery.
• Act as a technical thought leader and a point of escalation for critical infrastructure issues and outages.
• Define and monitor operational metrics such as service availability, reliability, and incident response.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading infrastructure engineering teams.
• Hands-on engineering experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), systems engineering, or network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing engineers with a commitment to mentorship.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools, specifically Jira.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with networking tools like Palo Alto or HP/Aruba.
• Experience with monitoring and security tools such as LogicMonitor or Rapid7.
