Sr. Manager, Infrastructure and Service Management

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering projects involving infrastructure, material handling, and container handling systems.
• Translate capacity and operational requirements into engineered designs, specifications, and actionable work packages.
• Oversee project execution from concept through commissioning, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Manage engineering change control, risk identification, and cross-functional dependencies across mechanical, electrical, and safety teams.
• Identify opportunities for engineering optimization, process improvement, and lifecycle cost reduction.
• Manage engineering vendors, integrators, and equipment suppliers, including contract performance and technical deliverables.
• Advise leadership on engineering strategy, technology selection, and long-range infrastructure planning.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, material handling, or container handling systems (or a Master’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience).
• Demonstrated experience executing large-scale engineering projects with cross-functional scope.
• Proven ability to translate sizing requirements into engineered designs and technical specifications.
• Experience with vendor management, engineering procurement, and contract oversight.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, engineering design tools, and modeling software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering certifications or advanced technical credentials.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
