Sr Manager, HR & Crew Experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant to production leaders and crew members for Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studio, and Searchlight live-action productions
• Partner closely with business leaders, production leaders, and cross-functional teams including Employee Relations, Employment Legal, and Labor Relations
• Proactively assess production performance and identify trends to recommend and drive strategic HR actions
• Facilitate training sessions to develop the next generation of production leaders
• Oversee state production incentive submissions in collaboration with filmmakers and production leaders
• Support Labor Relations with union negotiations by providing necessary documentation and workforce data
• Promote a fair and inclusive workplace that integrates diversity into business and production strategies
• Lead the HR & Crew Experience Partner and oversee early career/production intern programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience
• 7+ years of proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or Business Partner
• Experience working within a creative and fluid working environment
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict effectively and manage highly sensitive information
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with unions and guilds
• Previous experience within a production environment
• Desire to continue developing deep production industry knowledge
• Flexibility to work with teams across various time zones
