Sr. Manager, Field Engineering

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, grow, and manage a team of Solutions Architects
• Partner with sales leadership to hit sales and consumption targets
• Maintain a robust hiring pipeline for the Manufacturing and HiTech segment
• Ensure the team maintains advanced knowledge of the data+AI technology stack
• Lead the team through technical qualification, proof of concepts, and architecture discussions
• Foster working relationships between Field Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams
• 7+ years of experience in the Data + AI space (data warehousing, big data, data science, ML, or AI)
• Deep technical understanding of Data + AI impact within industry segments
• Ability to influence and review complex architectures
• Experience managing performance and implementing improvement plans
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to technical executives
