About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team conducting market and sales analysis to ensure optimal sales execution and growth objectives
  • Serve as the primary Commercial Excellence contact for the Canada Surgical organization and liaison to Americas Commercial Operations
  • Synthesize market data, including competitive intelligence and market segmentation, to identify opportunities and threats
  • Generate actionable ad-hoc commercial analysis, such as segmentation, targeting, and risk assessments
  • Lead the production and maintenance of territory sales quotas and the end-to-end sales force incentive process
  • Drive system and process adoption, acting as a local expert for Commercial Excellence capabilities
  • Oversee go-to-market optimizations, including sales force sizing, territory design, and customer segmentation refreshes
  • Instruct and train commercial team members on accessing and utilizing sales and marketing analytics

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or MBA with relevant internship experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce CRM, Tableau, Alteryx, AWS (or similar), and basic SQL
  • Strong analytical ability with a passion for data, insights, and effective visualizations
  • Proven ability to develop sound strategies and translate them into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a trusted advisor to leadership
