Sr. Manager, Capital Projects

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the capital plan to provide current, budgeted and strategic spending forecasts
• Own and maintain the CAR process, procedures and workflows for capital planning
• Establish and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual capital spending and forecasting processes
• Facilitate capital spending communication between operations leadership, project management and finance
• Manage a team of Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, Construction Managers and Project Controls support
• Ensure projects establish credible schedules based on scope, complexity, and execution
• Lead and facilitate interactive capital planning sessions across the company
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management and Operations to balance cost and schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of capital project or project management experience
• Proven ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams
• High level of attention to detail and data-driven mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in outdoor, industrial environments with varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerBI
• Cross-functional team management experience
• Construction industry experience
