Sr. Manager, Business Planning & Operations

Responsibilities

• Drive engagement on strategic priorities across the India and South Asia (INSA) markets to ensure business success.
• Support the development, program management, and execution of business-critical initiatives at the market and cluster levels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for interchange implementation, maintaining deep knowledge of Visa and industry contexts.
• Collaborate with the Asia Pacific Interchange team and other cross-functional departments to execute strategic plans.
• Develop frameworks for new cluster initiatives, including building operational process flows and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantitative modules.
• 7–10 years of experience in the payments industry, financial services, or consulting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative modeling skills with the ability to resolve complex business problems.
• Proficiency in managing large data sets using Excel and Access.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and strategic concepts clearly via PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in card payments, payment technologies, or loyalty services.
• Experience working directly with Issuers, Acquirers, Merchants, or Merchant Partners.
• Proficiency with SQL or MicroStrategy tools.
