Sr. Manager Bank Relationship and Payment Network

Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain strong global banking relationships to expand the company's account network and payment rail infrastructure.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of bank accounts, including onboarding, maintenance, and closure across multiple jurisdictions.
• Execute incoming KYC processes and comprehensive counterparty due diligence for new and existing banking relationships.
• Contribute to the Bank Steering Committee by preparing business cases and strategic recommendations.
• Analyze and optimize interest income on cash balances and implement bank fee reduction strategies.
• Ensure regulatory adherence through semi-annual SOX Compliance User Access Reviews and maintain safeguarding processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, or financial services within a global or multi-entity environment.
• Strong working knowledge of correspondent banking, payment rails, and bank fee structures.
• Proven experience with KYC, counterparty due diligence, and regulated account operations.
• Strong analytical capability regarding interest income optimization and fee analysis.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with EMEA and Malta (MFSA) regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience supporting a bank steering or governance forum at the committee level.
• Exposure to virtual account and payment scheme infrastructure.
• Relevant professional qualification in treasury, accounting, or banking.
