Sr Manager ASIC NPI

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the end-to-end silicon NPI strategy, aligning with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to meet product lifecycle milestones (EVT, DVT, PVT).
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) requirements to optimize wafer fabrication, assembly, and test processes.
• Maximize yield and reduce costs, including expertise in advanced packaging.
• Oversee vendor management, contract manufacturer (CM) strategy, and material procurement to ensure capacity and timely engineering build schedules.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical and supply constraints during the NPI phase, ensuring a seamless transfer to mass production.
• Guarantee that products meet quality standards and reliability specifications in conjunction with the Quality team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, material engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• 15+ years in semiconductor operations, NPI, or product engineering, with a proven track record in high-volume silicon manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of silicon wafer fab, 3D packaging, or complex ASIC development.
• Experience leading large, diverse, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
