Sr. Manager, Active Safety & Cruising [ADAS Systems]

Responsibilities

• Determine commodity strategy for Active Safety & Cruising feature sets
• Ensure technical content and integrity of specific components and systems across all programs
• Create commodity business plans in line with technical strategy
• Manage recruitment, training, coaching, and people development within the department
• Confirm technical and financial system requirements cascaded from vehicle level attributes
• Oversee commodity quality and escalate issues to system owner level
• Approve engineering component releases for programs
• Develop and implement efficient design processes, engineering standards, and detection events
• Partner with Supplier Sourcing for commodity business plans and cost reductions
• Manage supplier selection, development, and strategic technical partnerships
• Lead component system strategy and sign-off (completion of DV)

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience delivering technical products through a team
• Demonstrable experience in budget and target management
• Proven experience managing a team of engineers
• Experience developing commodity, system, and future technology strategies
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Relevant technical and professional accreditations
