Sr. Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and general repairs across all manufacturing plant areas
• Aid in the upkeep of parts and supplies inventory to ensure operational continuity
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards to maintain a secure working environment
• Cooperate with supervisors to complete repairs in a time and cost-effective manner
• Execute key projects including equipment installation, line re-design, and Kaizen improvements
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area and assist other departments with organization

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• General knowledge of maintenance procedures
• Experience working with preventative maintenance programs
• 1-3 years of experience in machine repair, tool & die, or machinist areas
• 1-3 years of experience in mechanic troubleshooting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for approximately 90% of the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Related Technical Degree or trade school certification in Mechanical/Electronics
• Licensing in Electrical or Welding
• Journeyman Electrician status
• Experience with LEAN applications (5S and SMED principles)
• Experience working within a TPM program
