About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead complex maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on AML-1 inspection equipment.
- Perform corrective maintenance and advanced diagnostics to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with GMP and safety standards.
- Utilize reliability and predictive maintenance tools to monitor machinery performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis (e.g., Five Whys) to identify trends and implement technical solutions.
- Complete accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and system updates in compliance with ALCOA+ principles.
- Develop and review SOPs, job plans, and work instructions related to maintenance and equipment operation.
- Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians on routine tasks, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of maintenance experience, OR an Associate’s degree in Industrial Mechanics with 6 months of maintenance experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including sensors and low-voltage components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Experience working in GMP-regulated environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise in manufacturing inspection equipment, automation, and vision systems.
- Familiarity with Automatic Vision Inspection Machines, packaging machines, robotic systems, and conveyors.
- Knowledge of PLC interfaces, HMI interactions, and camera-based inspection systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective shift handovers and team collaboration.
