Sr. Lead, Sustainability Assurance

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale an assurance-readiness framework for sustainability disclosures across multiple regulatory regimes (e.g., CSRD, ISSB).
• Coordinate and manage external assurance engagements with third-party providers, including scoping, evidence gathering, and remediation.
• Launch mechanisms to ensure cross-jurisdictional consistency of assurance approaches and disclosure quality.
• Conduct gap assessments of current sustainability reporting practices against evolving regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain a centralized audit trail of evidence, methodologies, and management judgments to ensure documentation is defensible.
• Partner cross-functionally with Worldwide Sustainability, Finance, Legal, and Accounting teams to align reporting with financial processes.
• Synthesize complex regulatory and sustainability concepts into clear communications for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
• 6+ years of experience creating process improvements involving automation and analysis.
• 6+ years of experience in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership.
• 5+ years of experience dissecting financial data and identifying patterns to support business strategy.
• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (or a Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of quantitative experience in engineering, process re-engineering, or quality assurance).

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience identifying inaccurate data, performing root cause analysis, and implementing escalation plans.
• 6+ years of experience solving complex business challenges through accurate financial modeling and analysis.
• MBA or CPA certification.
• Experience navigating sustainability disclosure requirements across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., EU, Australia, US, UK).
• Familiarity with sustainability data management platforms, carbon accounting tools, or GRC systems.
