About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the hands-on technical lead for Copilot and AI security controls across Microsoft Purview, Defender, and M365.
- Design and implement Copilot-related controls including Information Protection labeling, DLP, Endpoint DLP, and Insider Risk.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot security controls in enterprise environments.
- Review and secure Copilot platform configurations such as web grounding, agents, connectors, and retention settings.
- Develop alerting, monitoring, automation, and operational runbooks to ensure stability and audit readiness.
- Establish AI risk use cases and operational workflows within Communication Compliance and DSPM.
- Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance to engineering, operations, and governance stakeholders.
Requirements
- College degree in cyber security, engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, DLP technologies, and information security best practices.
- LLM security fundamentals, including threat modeling for data exposure and prompt injection risks.
- Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with ServiceNow incident and change management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with M365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange, and Entra ID.
- Familiarity with Sentinel, Zscaler, or Symantec DLP.
- Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Security/Compliance, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SANS.
