Sr Labor Relations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead labor and employee relations strategy across India operations
• Develop and execute proactive employee engagement and union avoidance initiatives
• Manage union-related activities, workforce concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, labor codes, and statutory requirements
• Conduct labor compliance audits and manage contractor/vendor compliance programs
• Build and maintain effective relationships with labor authorities and government agencies
• Partner with Legal on labor disputes, employment litigation, and regulatory inquiries
• Lead investigations relating to employee relations, workplace conduct, and policy violations
• Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on labor relations and compliance risks

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, or a similar field
• Proven experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
