About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain critical IT infrastructure to ensure optimum performance and meet departmental KPIs and SLAs.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for IT Support Technicians, remote teams, and Operations.
  • Manage site-wide IT projects, including the creation, review, and execution of change management requests and project plans.
  • Liaise with global SME teams to facilitate the installation and maintenance of networking and server infrastructure.
  • Perform site audits on technical infrastructure to ensure adherence to Amazon IT and Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Provide direction, mentoring, and training to IT Support Technicians and other engineers.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including requesting quotes and purchasing equipment in accordance with budgets and policies.
  • Contribute to the on-call schedule for high-severity incidents at the home site and within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Proven experience with networking technologies including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience working with Windows server technologies such as AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
  • Professional experience in technical support within a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience supporting a Windows server environment.
  • Experience supporting video conferencing and teleconferencing equipment.
