Sr IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the full server lifecycle, including deployment, decommissioning, and evergreen processes.
• Act as a CMDB Data Steward, maintaining and troubleshooting ServiceNow Configuration Management Database workflows.
• Perform data governance, asset tracking, and technical debt reduction to ensure a pristine CMDB.
• Analyze and interpret data from ServiceNow to provide actionable insights for IT service management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor CMDB health and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop training materials for ongoing knowledge transfer.
• Manage daily IT direct tickets and provide technical support.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data analytics and IT service management.
• Proficiency in SQL and various data analysis tools to extract and manipulate data.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) and its CMDB functionalities.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and roadmap visualization.
• Basic understanding of Windows, Linux, and VMWare to assist with server decommissioning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in data governance and data quality management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
