Sr IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into scalable cloud architecture solutions.
• Lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
• Play a hands-on role in architecture implementation, cloud migrations, and troubleshooting within enterprise systems.
• Define and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, and reference designs.
• Ensure robust network design, security controls, IAM policies, and compliance adherence are embedded in the cloud architecture.
• Drive DevSecOps adoption by integrating security and compliance into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Design and optimize observability and monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch and Splunk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions (specifically AWS).
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Strong expertise in cloud networking, including VPC architecture, load balancing, VPNs, routing, and firewall configurations.
• Proven experience with cloud security, encryption, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of Event Driven and Distributed Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification.
