Sr. IP Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and operate VxLAN/EVPN-based datacenter fabrics across multiple PoPs
• Architect and maintain BGP-based WAN routing across the global backbone
• Design and operate Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, including policy design and zone segmentation
• Drive network automation initiatives, ranging from device provisioning to event-driven remediation
• Collaborate across Engineering and Operations to evaluate new technologies and deliver improvements
• Participate in an on-call rotation and perform after-hours maintenance as needed

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with service provider network infrastructure
• Deep expertise in datacenter networking: VxLAN, EVPN, and leaf-spine architectures
• Strong Palo Alto experience, including firewall policy management and Panorama
• Solid routing foundation with BGP (iBGP/eBGP), OSPF, and MPLS in production environments
• Experience with Cisco (ASR, Nexus/NX-OS) and Juniper (MX, SRX) platforms
• Scripting or development experience using Python, Ansible, or similar tools
• Proficiency working in Linux environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience mentoring junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ACI or other SDN/overlay controller platforms
• Relevant network certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or PCNSE
• Experience leveraging AI to contribute to technical missions
