Sr. High Voltage Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate high voltage test equipment for the Phenix Technologies product line
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
• Perform partial discharge measurements and complete load calculations for duty cycle testing
• Document complete test procedures, calibration data, and system logs to prepare units for shipment
• Work directly with the Engineering team on design changes and issues identified during testing
• Assist with factory acceptance tests, customer troubleshooting, and telephone support
• Train Service Technicians on the operation and functionality of newly designed equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, or a related field (2 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• 5+ years of experience in high voltage, high current, and high-power test products
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Experience interacting directly with customers
• Ability to operate a fork truck, manlift, and overhead cranes
