Sr. Global Supply Manager- Chassis

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic business relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Lead contract negotiations and drive cost savings initiatives
• Implement strategic sourcing best practices for the vehicle Chassis system
• Provide comprehensive benchmarking of competitive components and systems technology
• Design and conduct supplier, industry, and market research to develop sourcing strategies
• Perform make vs. buy analyses for manufacturing components and systems
• Negotiate and execute supplier general terms, conditions, and purchasing agreements
• Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and act as the lead contact for commercial issues
• Source all Chassis components within established cost, timing, and quality targets

Requirements

• Automotive industry background required
• Background in Automotive, Engineering, or Finance required
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management required
• 5+ years of professional experience required
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Chassis experience
• MBA degree
• Customer or supplier facing experience
• Fluency in German or Mandarin
• 10+ years of experience
